DELINEATION DE Chirantan
Chirantan Ghosh (B. 1979, Calcutta) is a management and communications professional, who has been educated in India at Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission and later in the USA at the New York University (Communications) and NYIT (Fine Arts). He uses his experience of multiple languages, exposure to global cultures and geographies, as a fuel for his expressions through paintings.
Ghosh tries to marry the science and philosophies of both the East and the West to uphold some perspectives. He started his public exhibitions from New York's Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, at the age of nineteen. There on, his works have been exhibited in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Paris, London, Dubai, Den Haag and many other cultural hubs of the bohemian lifestyle.
It's noteworthy that Ghosh donates most of the proceeds from the sale of his exhibits and auctions to the charities of his choice — SmileTrain that provides free surgery for children with cleft lip and palate, and to the Sundarban Foundation that develops sustainable livelihood, provides education and healthcare services for rural Bengal.
Professionally, Chirantan heads Growth segment for the European and Americas markets for Tata Consultancy Services. He has 24 years of enterprise management and technology experience across companies such as Capgemini North America, Sony BMG, VeriFone, etc.
