अहं ब्रह्मास्मि (aham brahmāsmi) — I’m All and all is me

aham brahmāsmi (अहं ब्रह्मास्मि / অহং ব্রহ্মাস্মি) is a Mahāvakya (one of the summaries) of the Upanishads from the Yajur Veda. It means, “I am Brahman” or ‘I’m the Divine’. The philosophy of Advaita Vedanta implies the oneness of the individual self (Atman) with the universal reality (Brahman).

This mix media painting 8.44” x 6” is my humble articulation and visualization of the Mahāvakya. I look forward to your interpretation of this canvas, as comments.

  4. There is that intrinsic power within each one (like sun) which wehv the responsibility to enlighten to support each cell of our body, the way sun gives power to earth to live. There will be whole universe of falsehood around you, however there is also a divine aura which each one has to adapt to enhance his life.

  6. The colors are beautiful. Love the balance between chaos and harmony. Are you showing Sun and Moon, male and female energy? Thank you for sharing this spectacular art with us. The gallery would be interested to showcase your work.

  8. Loved the rhapsody of colours...the openness to interpretations of the painting is in itself a mirror that can both reflect and scaffold the working of the universe, where uncertainties become potentials...the pulsations of life and death aptly expressed through the clotted-blood-red-strokes blend into the 'One observering eye' that radiates like a thousand suns...the observer is part of the cycle and yet vast enough to hold it all...and it's the same observer that rests within each of us, uniting us in this timeless journey...
