This 12” x 24” mixed media painting is my reaction to the massacre of Pehelgam, where innocent tourists were gunned down by terrorists. Lost a colleague, who was there with his wife and son! The biggest disappointment and disillusionment were the lack of outcomes… the colors speak for themselves and of my emotions.

Love the display of your emotions with colours.
ReplyDeleteChiratan is a master of surreality. His use of intense colours that riot over the canvas makes the art profoundly mystic. This one is quintessential Chirantan.
ReplyDeleteThe masterly use of colours is quite amazing. As I understand such art so little it would be tough for me to evaluate my dear friend Chiru's so beautiful a creation. BTW, I feel so proud that the artist prompted to express his feelings on such a ghastly matter after my request. Thanks buddy.
ReplyDeleteA surreal and stark presentation of the questions left behind by the heinous act! Bravo Chirantan!
ReplyDeleteI knew Chirantan from the world of technology. Now, I see where his fire comes from. Only a person who loves his land can paint like this, bravo.
ReplyDeleteGiven operation Sindoor, your painting has a new meaning! Does the whites signify the water treaty? Very masterful sir.
