কল্মষমোষিণি in Bengali means the one who brings about the end of sins or darkness. This adjective is bestowed upon the deity, mother Durga, who brings the end of — Mahisashur (all powerful demon) signifying our own inner darkness. She is the mother who helps us overcome all darkness, and nurtures with light and the greens of creation. This 15” x 11” mixed media canvas is homage to my Bengali heritage, it is a creative expression of sincere respect.

C’est un chef d’œuvre! J’adore ce tableau

ReplyDeleteSimply awesome❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼...brilliant use of colours...an enchanting depiction of awakening...a celebration of the courage to see the 'mother' inherent in all of us
ReplyDeleteBoth the idea and adroitness are brilliant. The green and blue symbols of life seem to be washing away the putrid dark. The abstract background and foregrounds each seem to convey individual emotions. It seems like stories unfolding on the canvas, bravo!
ReplyDeleteWill eagerly wait for your next work, do accept our compliments on a job well done.
তোমার চিন্তন, মনন এবং অঙ্কন, তিনটিই খুব সুন্দর হয়েছে চিরন্তন!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent play of colors. I have been to India many times and love the culture. The third eye almost looks like a lamp, is that intentional? What is the significance?
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing concept though.
I don’t know about this mythology or the religious context but really love the colors. To me it seems like birth and transformation. Please keep at it, you’re awesome CG!
